In the 7th century Murano put itself on the map as a commercial port and gradually grew into a prosperous trading centre. However it was only in 1291 Murano became really famous. To make these fantastic cufflinks materials are shred over glass, such gold and silver foils, Murrinas Glass, and smaller pieces of coloured glass. The process is time-consuming and requires huge skill and imagination by our artisans in order to create the colour combinations and different patterns within the glass. Today Murano Gemelli manufacture and supply individually handmade cufflinks. Each pair is truly unique.
